How does selling your PC work?
The process starts with a few details about your computer.
We review the information and photographs you provide before
sending you an offer. If you accept, we arrange the postage
process and inspect the PC when it arrives.
There are eight main steps, from your initial enquiry through
to payment by bank transfer.
Step 1
Submit your PC details
Complete our Sell Your PC form with the details of your
gaming PC or desktop computer. Include the specifications
requested and upload the photographs requested by the form.
Providing accurate information and clear photographs helps
us understand the computer you want to sell.
Step 2
We review your submission
We review the specifications and photographs you have
supplied. This gives us the information we need to assess
the PC before preparing an offer.
Step 3
Receive your offer
Once we have reviewed your submission, we send our offer
to the email address you provided.
You can review the offer and decide whether you would like
to accept it.
Step 4
Accept the offer and arrange postage
If you decide to accept, follow the instructions in your
offer to continue. You will be able to choose the available
postage option: courier collection or drop-off at a Post Office.
You will also be asked to provide your bank details so that
payment can be made if the PC passes inspection and the sale
is completed.
Step 5
Receive your postage label
Your postage label will be emailed to you after you have
completed the postage arrangements. Follow the instructions
provided for your selected postage option.
Step 6
Package your PC carefully
Prepare your computer for its journey and package it carefully
to help protect it during transit. Follow the packaging
instructions provided by Camber Components.
Your PC can then be handed over for courier collection or
taken to the Post Office, depending on the option you selected.
Step 7
We inspect your PC
When your computer arrives, we inspect it and compare its
condition and specifications with the information supplied
in your original submission.
If something differs from the original description, we may
send you a revised offer. You can decide whether to accept
that revised offer.
If you decline a revised offer, Camber Components covers
the return postage for your PC.
Step 8
Receive payment
Once the inspection is complete and the sale is agreed,
payment is made by bank transfer to the bank account details
you supplied.
Payment is made within 24–48 hours after inspection.
You will also receive an email confirming the transfer.
Is postage free?
Yes. Camber Components covers the postage cost for sending
your PC to us. If you decline a revised offer following
inspection, we also cover the return postage.
Can I sell more than one computer?
Yes. If you have between 3 and 50 computers to sell, you can
use our bulk PC submission form instead of submitting each
computer individually.
